FROZEN EGG AND EMBRIO CELLS SAVING

Frozen saving (cryopreservation) of eggs / embryos is the storage of eggs or embryos remaining in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196 C. this storage is done because the number of embryos with good quality is quite a lot (more than 5). If a pregnancy occurs in the first treatment cycle, the frozen embryo will be thawed and performed ET as in the previous IVF cycle.

FROZEN SPERMES SAVING

Usually done in cases of severe oligospermia (very small sperm count), azoospermia (in the case of sperm collection by MESA or TESA), or in men who have difficulty ejaculating at a certain time. The frozen sperm is used as a backup (back-up) because of concerns about the absence of sperm when needed later (at the time of the OPU). Because of this, sperm are frozen a few weeks before the OPU.
